Viejoteca Top 25 for May 2008

There is a new Number 1 on the Viejoteca chart this month the new release from Gilberto Burgos y su Orchestra "Salsa Romantica Agresiva" makes it way to the top of the Viejoteca charts. The re release of Ray Barretto's the Message stays in the top 25 at number 14. Another important new release making its way to Number 6 on the Viejoteca list is the new CD from Envidia Pedro Brull y Jerry Medina's "Estacion Candela" . Sure to be a classic is the band of youngster from Puerto Rico Orquesta la Remembernezas make their debut in the top 10 at number 8. Making it's debut at number 5 is the digital only new release from Latin Soul Records Featuring great numbers from la Protesta, Jose Chepito Areas, Orquesta la Moderna amogest others. Lots of material from the Emuisca vaults again with a strong showing of Fania re releases. Lots of new entries into the Top 25 this month including re releases from Willie Rosario, Sexteto Latino Moderno, Alberto Barros, Black Sugar Sextet and a great release from Sexteto Rumbanahabana
