April Top 25 from Viejoteca

There is a new Number 1 on the Viejoteca chart this month the new release from Jesus Pagan y su Orquesta "Salsa de La Mata" makes it way to the top of the Viejoteca charts. The re release of Ray Barretto's the Message stays in the top 10 at number 3. Another important new release making its way to Number 6 on the Viejoteca list is the new CD from Rochester's Orquesta Antonetti entitled Sigue el Paso featuring Rickey Gonzalez. Sure to be a classic is the Cortijo tribute from New York's Aurora y Zon del Barrio a refreshing change. After making it's debut at number 13 the new release from Gilbeto Burgos y su Orquesta has climbed to number 2. The one is getting lots of request action on the Live 365 portion of Viejoteca with it's polished vibe. This is to be a classic release of 2008. Lots of material from the Emuisca vaults again with a strong showing of Fania re releases. Lots of new entries into the Top 25 this month including re releases from Salsa Sudada, Monguito el Unico and an great indie release from Randy Plaza and the Legacia de la Salsa
